Mrs. Machau’s Story of Empowerment Through Agriculture

Mrs. Machau and the Takura team. The field is her source of livelihood. She had no access to markets, technical support, and inputs before Takura. She represents hundreds of the bottom-of-the-pyramid farmers Takura is supporting. It is a sustainable business transaction. The farmers comply with the highest standards, including GLOBALGAP. Yes, they are certified. We have 68% female farmers. Once paid, the farmers are buying solar systems for their homes. They pay school fees for their children, buy food provisions for the families, and make home improvements. Above all, they are free to make financial decisions.

Takura believes in a sustainable world where all people in low-income communities have an opportunity to prosper. MLAFWRD Zim
